Welp, I decided on doing the entire P90X program.

Oh God.

I decided on this at work, since one of my coworkers started on it a few weeks ago with good results. As mentioned in earlier posts, I have done some of the workouts and they full-heartedly kicked my sorry ass. Today, I did the Chest/Back work out with Ab Ripper X, the first time I actually completed the standard two videos in a day thing. So I figured, "hey, maybe I could do the program on New Years"

Then I thought, "Why don't I just do it now because the Chest/Back video is the first day of the program?"

So here I am. I will be waking up at 6:30 to do the Plyometrics video before I go to work. Just like I was telling Jackie, I'd be doing them early in the morning so that I'm not physically/mentally exhausted from when I come back from work. Of course, this will be absurd if I work 7 AM shifts, for those days I'm just going to have to suck it up and do it after work.

I weighed myself today, and I was 220. That's why I need to start going at it before I balloon to 225 or 230, and then this whole year's worth of hard work will have been for naught. That's right, if I continued at this pace I will have netted no weight change for the entire year, which is not what I set out to do.

I'm thinking of doing a montage video set to Push it to the Limit. For lulz.

so Ive been home for quite a bit now. its lost its charm. the main thing is that Im earning money, which is awesome.
that is to say, if it werent holiday season. Ive been working my butt off and my feet took a beating. glad I had a couple days off to rest. I had a really awesome workweek where I picked up 3 shifts, over 10 hours - the week came to 34 hours. this week I think I got about 29? with picking up a shift. so Im doing alright.
even with the spending for gifts. all in all, I really dont mind.. I enjoy finding gifts for people that I know they will enjoy. the gift of giving does feel good. I have 2 gifts apiece for my sister and mom, and one for a friend who told me tonight he got me something. also got myself another shirt - because it was designed by SCAD, for dexter, and it was free shipping day! I couldnt resist.

in other news, been watching a lot of movies lately. up, wall-e, the men who stare at goats, fantastic mr. fox, star trek (again), and the darjeeling limited. this might upset people. but I didnt really enjoy up that much, if at all. nice concept. thats where it ended.

God I think I'm going to be sick to my stomach.

I just need to complain somewhere that Im allowed to,.. but it is just depressing how much weight Ive gained. and its all on my belly and on my BACK. I have lost like all flexibility I once had. and I know I dont have near the amount of motivation I need to start working out and shit. its WAY too cold to run outside and our treadmill is broken. there are too many different types of exercises, idk where to begin. Im never going to lose this weight. the back fat is killing me.

my bmi is still in healthy range. its all thats got me okay with my weight gain. but I have to psych myself out to fix this.

So yeah I went exploring in SL last night. I found a place similar to the 8Bit Mario, but I also checked out a couple of places that had Dragon Ball Z vendors. I did see what I later figured out as a SSJ5 Brolly, but didn't get a screenshot because he kept doing stupid power up blobs and shit.

I did get some screenshots of the vendors around the place, which werewolfofwater later joined me on. I didn't keep the screenshots of the first one except for one, since the later two we went to had the same stuff:

Working for the state of California can be excruciating at times. Specifically, times like this.

Current situation isn't fun in the least. My car's still in the shop from the accident I got into (way back on Thanksgiving), and I'm pretty much out of spendable money and I'd really like to not dip into savings to make up for something that's more of an inconvenience than a hopeless situation.

I mean, it wouldn't be a problem if I had some cash but my account's been empty since the 27th. I can do with the living of ramen noodles, but the transportation issue is more of a problem than I ever figured it would be.

In any case, payday was the 8th. Or, it should have been, but thanks to people lagging behind and not doing their jobs right and making mistakes up at HQ, chances are, I'm not getting paid until Tuesday.

Hooray for another weekend of me being shut in the house!

Now that I've vented that, nothing much more for me to go on about, I guess.

It's really really really cold lately. I mean, I know a lot of you guys are probably like "lol man up that shits nothing" but 20-30 degree weather? In California?! It'd at least be cool if we could get some snow so I can throw snowballs at people and other general silliness but all we get are rainy days, frozen roads, and car accidents. Ouch.

I'm really sad I missed NEC. Stream was good to watch though. Most definitely making my way out to Philly next year if only to be in the epicenter of the hype. In contrast though, I've already made plans for Final Round and the dates for Evo in July have been announced.

I've learned recently that the screw-in buttons on my Miku stick are somewhat of a gift and a curse: it seems really easy for the screw buttons to get loose... They're easy to redo though, but I gotta open up my stick every time it happens. On the other hand, I wouldn't have that problem with snap-ins, but I don't want to risk shaving down edges. Ick.

Also decided that I don't want to really practice anything else aside from KOF98 and MBAA until Super SF4 drops in like... April, and I'll add that to the list. Being focused on too many different games is really killing me, and a lot are stuff that I just play because others want me to play. I need to start thinking more of myself than putting others first in some regards on that note.

Well, that's about it. No finals for me, seeing as I don't have school, but good luck to whatever is remaining for everyone else. Wish I had a winter vacation though :(

Lately, everyone on Facebook has been switching their profile pic to their favorite Pokemon. Let's just get it out of the way and say Vaporeon is just the most badass one of them all.

In a way, Vaporeon's a lot like me:

• It has a lot of HP so it can take a lot of abuse before going down.


• It knows a wide variety of moves so it can kick your ass in multiple ways.


• It's fucking awesome.


• Every other Pokemon sucks.
